hello....

Popping in to tell you that i have uploaded another art journal page on my other blog here... but today...i start a scrapbook page. I have not done one for nearly a month now, but i am child free today....so i thought it was about time x

While i was away.....

I have had my eye on art journaling for a while...it looked really freeing and alot of fun...but i have always steered clear of it as my perfection tendencies to all things straight and my hate of having dirty hands always made me think this was not something i would enjoy doing....

But i thought that being away for a while on holiday would be the perfect time to try so i grabbed some stuff and just went with it......and i LOVED it...

I had so much fun.......there was a reason....i am making something for someone for a present....and i know she looks in on here from time to time...so with that in mind i have created a new blog...a blog where i can play with paint and stuff and not alienate my readers here who don't like that sort of thing. Oh and also one main reason is....

Morning all

Hi everyone....i have a really quiet day here today as dh and a few members of his family are in London today at the olympics and sightseeing...they are all down from Scotland for a few days.

So today I am tidying up my scrapbooking room, and really getting started on my next page...I went to my LSS the other day and picked up a few sheet of the new MME so I really want to use some of that.
Today on the Papermaze blog they are showing my last page using the August kit.

I bought this punch the other day...

and I have done nothing but use it since....now my new official favorite punch.

I emailed Lilith and asked if she minded if I lifted the idea of the love in a bag...and she said yes...you can see her one here on her blog. She also has a video to go with it.

I used a photo that my dh took of my on our weekend away for our anniversary. We have been married for 10 years now. Been together for 11. We met, three months later we moved in together, a year later we got married. I remember lots of people commenting...saying it would never work....but here we are 11 years later and still as happy...so what did they know huh!

I have a busy week ahead...more dentist, Harry to have his eye tested and getting ready for my holiday. I may hide away in my room for a while if I get the chance! Have a fab weekend x

August kit is up...

The beautiful August kit is up on the Papermaze blog. And here is my first page that I made with it.

for both of my layouts that I did, I used coloured cardstock on the back...not something I ever do....but it was fun.

Today I am finally going to document my pregnancy and Harry's birth. It is not something I have ever wanted to do, as it was a really hard time in my life..but I feel it is time.
