I introduce you to the Feb kit from the Nook...

I am not a lover of purple...mainly because i had to wear the colour everyday for a year when i worked full time a while ago...............but i cannot wait to get this...it looks so beautiful!!!!

THe new design team call is on over at the Nook....lots of new girls and a ton of stuff being uploaded to the gallery.....i decided not to re apply for another 6 months....not because of the kits, because well.....lets face it they are gorgeous!!! as you can see from the photo above...and i will miss getting them....oh how i will miss them.

Last card...

I have been posting all week over the Scrap paper scissors using the Echo Park little girl line...which is gorgeous, the colours co ordinate beautifully...Here is my last card that went up today...

I cannot wait to see all the message boards and blogs covered in new CHA stuff this weekend! All i need is a computer at home ( yep my one broke) to see them all!!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrr

I have had a few questions in the comments on the last few posts....

1. The ink i use...i have done a link to this before but incase you missed it i use this one with some sponges to apply it.
2. The metal spike thing that i use to hold my cards sometimes is called a florist frog....i found mine on ebay...

A little card....

It has been a while since i had actual fun when creating something...so for now, while i feel like this, i am going to stick creating things that i like doing....like making cards!!! so expect a few in the coming months!!!

Can i ask a question...to all you girlies that make cards...when you make as many as i do ( and i know you do!!! lol) what do you do with them all...do you give them out to people? save them up and have a huge pile? sell them? i was thinking of making a bunch and giving them to the local charity shops near where i live, but i am not sure if i they would take them? Anyway let me know what you do...

I went to Papermaze and bought some of the new Echo park called Little girl and as usual it is gorgeous...i so love that company!!!

Fancy some stamps?

I love stamps...love love love them...buy them, clear ones, wooden ones...you name it i will buy them...

but the snag???????????

i dont use them, really i dont ever use them...not sure why, i find it really hard to use them and struggle with inking etc...it is just not me...

so my first give away this year is going to be some wooden stamps...

This is one of my all time favourite ones...i have two of these and they are the only one i really use. I stamp this in black on the back of my handmade cards...so pretty!

A small alphabet one from Hero Art..that i just had to have, but as you can see has not even been opened!

enough said about these really as they are beyond the words of cuteness!!!!

these are great on cards...i have only used two, so the others are brand new from Hero Arts.

Just popping in to show you the card i made for my mothers birthday next week...

i sewed the blue/green flower paper to the bottom and around the edge leaving a gap at the top to make a little pouch for the paper with the sentiment on it...

and the inside part that slips out...

For her birthday i made  a banner of teapots...as you know from my other post she has a love of cups and teapots...so i bought some small wooden teapots to cover and hang for her! Will show you that soon! This card was made using the American Craft Valentine line! Again...it is gorgeous...i just cannot put it down!

Bear with me....

I am behind on most things at the moment....scrapbooking, assignments and life in general.

It is my aunts funeral on friday and then comes the daunting task of moving furniture from her house so the next tenant comes in....i do have a giveaway to do and i do have some pages and stuff made with the nook kit, but time as i said has got away from me...so bear with me a few days and i will be back!

So the whole Nook page thing is going to have to wait....it is raining here, dark miserable and horrible today and i am never going to get a nice picture of the page i have done, so i am going to wait for another day.

 So today i am going to show you a heart banner that i made for my room!!!! i was going to post it next week but ho hum!!! for some reason the close up pictures of the other hearts were blurry so please click on the pictures to see them bigger.

All of these hearts are made by adhering the pattern paper onto some wooden hearts that i bought on ebay...

 

I plan on hanging this up and adding these to the gaps between them....

and the pegging my photos on them...i am waiting for some new black and white ones to come to add them on!!!!

All the papers and the embellishments that were used on this project ( apart from the pins) are from this line..just beautiful!

The kits are amazing...seriously they are, if you are a co coordinating supplies scrapper like i am you will love them, they are put together beautifully...full of the latest stuff and there are always add ons if you feel like expanding your kit...do i sound like a sales person???? lol...i know i do but i do really believe that they are just the best kits around...the message board is full of some of the most wonderful people that i have ever met...and i have made some real life friends from there as well.

nearly there...

I looked at my stats the other day and noticed that i am up to 290 followers!!! wow that is alot! and fairly scary as i have to keep this thing up with  something new fairly often!!!!! lol...

Anyway..i decided this morning that when i get to 300 i will do a big giveaway...and i mean big...so keep an eye out on the followers and when it gets there ( i am aware that could take a while lol...) there will be a big giveaway!!!
