When browsing Two Peas the other day...i came across a thread with a you tube link....a link to a video from Kodak...YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT....click here
it made me think...............
I have struggled with scrapbooking recently...my carpel tunnel has been so bad that i have struggled to move my fingers on some days. this hobby did this to me....
After years of design team work, i have more albums than i know what to do with or store. I have hundreds of pages that are just sitting in boxes and are not in albums...mainly cost.... as buying all those albums to put all those hundreds of pages in would cost a fortune.
But recently this have started to pick up. I am sure the love will be the same as it was several years ago...but slowly it is coming back.
So for now i am just taking it one page at a time...trying to add more journaling, trying to make pages that count...i even considered doing a december daily album..( i haven't) but this year i will take more pictures...i will get my camera out of my bag and take more everyday things.
One of the things i have been working on in the last month is my bucket list. I have been writing stuff down over the last month...and then i turned it into a page...and here it is...
i still have a few extra ones to put in...but need some more kraft cardstock to print them out onto! lol...
some close ups...
i added a one of the Jillibean folders to the front of the page, so i could add some more to my list than i would have...i love these things!...here is the inside...
thanks for popping in. x

Such a stunning page and what a fab idea to have all those pockets hidden like that.
I love the large butterfly you have used is it a punch?
This page is amazing. I have struggled with giving up scrapbooking as well, but always come back to it. I am glad you are scrapping more on your own time, and hope you continue to do so. I love your work!
Thanks for sharing that video! It brought tears to my eyes.
Your page is amazing! I love the little pockets. Such a great idea to scrapbook a bucket list.
Scrap at your own pace. I can see how being on a DT could take a little bit of the fun out of scrapbooking. I find it so hard to scrapbook when I'm just not in the mood. Like when I have project deadlines. With that being said - This layout is gorgeous and this is such a brilliant idea.
I like this L/O, something to look back on and read in future years........great idea.
thanks for pointing out the kodak video - it is so inspiring. and your bucket list album is great!!
This is AMAZING!!! Love the idea :)

Hello Wendy,
You posted a very personal note today, thank you for sharing those thoughts.
I hope you will keep on your lovely way of scrapbooking. I love your style! Please, keep on going, you are a great inspiration!

greetings,
Judith
really like the hidden journaling--this is lovely!
Hi Wendy. I really hope you can start to love crafting again and see how important it is to do what you want in your own time. Life is too short to be pressured into creating stuff that means nothing to you. Ok sermon over! I love your work and I've missed your butterflies so its good to see them again! And thanks for the link to the Kodak advert - highly emotional stuff but a reminder of how precious each photo is.
xx
I love it! You so rock! Your style is just amazing.
Your work is amazing, like everyone else has said. I think the most important thing to remember is to do this for yourself. Anything beyond that can wait or not be done at all!!! You are creative and if that makes you feel wonderful then by all means be creative for you! Enjoy the place where you are and the process as well!
