A re do....

I love looking though images of other peoples scrapbooking rooms....i am a nosy person! lol...

Anyway i re did mine a while ago when moving my supplies downstairs and changed a few things around. I decided to show more things, rather than hide them away, my reasoning is...if i can see it, i am more likely to use it...well that is the theory we will see if it works...

I pulled out all my paints and sprays ( yes i do own them) and places them in boxes so i can see them...
all my embossing powers, stickles, paints etc have gone in these boxes...now i know the boxes are not pretty, but i wanted to plastic see through so i could see what i have...
The next shelf down...

Starting from the left:

Threads, Papermaze workshop buttons, thicker threads ( string etc) and two jars of papermaze workshop flowers)

Starting from the left again...these two jars hold my very long length of ribbon ( too long for my new holders) the next two boxes, top one has white thread ( which i use all the time) and my needles. The bottom box holds all the pre made cards and big journaling cards from American Crafts. The next box holds my spell binders which i showed a little while ago...an idea from the blog paper in Bloom...

I adhered mine with double sided tape, but after a while that has become unsticky...so my scrappy friend Jo came up with the idea of magnetic strips, which i will be doing!
I have seen lots of people set up their Martha Steward punches in a line, i always thought that looked pretty, and as i had a spare shelf left over i did it...

i use the border punches more now than i did before!
Next up my sparkling shelf...

these two jars on the left are little clear see through stones...so pretty! i bought these from a florist wholesale place near me, the big tubs this size were only £2.50!!!!!!!
and my big tub of gems! some are mine and some are from the workshops for papermaze ( incase you thought there was an insane amount of gems!!!)
I have kept my buttons the same way...

I have changed the way that i store my ribbons, again i had them stored away all rolled up in jars, i couldnt see what i wanted so i didnt use them...so i decided to go with a different way, that i know lots of people do it...

The only thing with this was, the real hanging bits of plastic that you can buy already made to hang your ribbons on was going to mount up in money if i had bought enough for all my ribbons, so again with the help of my scrappy friend Jo ( who lent me the correct punch) i made my own and hung them all up...

i know that the real ones have three slots in, but doing two was easier!!!!! You dont even want to know how long it took me to iron all the creases out of my ribbon, make these cardboard bits and hang it all up! TO say i was a tad bored by the end would be an understatement!!!!
My embellishments are still stored the same...

the 6 boxes on the left there are different to the others...so starting from the left boxes and starting from the top they hold...
top left: the newest Margarita line from American Craft, all waiting for me to use for my projects next month.
middle left: all my inks, blocks etc
bottom left: one of the boxes holding my Jillibean Soup supplies

top right: holds all my xmas, and Halloween supplies, not by manufacturer just all put into a box
Middle right: a box full of birthday stuff, sticker, embellishments etc
Bottom Right: all my cards and tags i made, waiting to be used.

Someone asked me the other day how i store my pattern paper...i do it like this, every paper line i have, i put into one of these plastic 12 by 12 bags...

I am lucky to live near a LSS that has a good supply of these!!!!, they then go in my cropper hoppers, not in any particular order, i suppose they should go in manufacturer order but i never got around to doing that.

any single sheets i have, i put into a cropper hopper on its own...

well there you have it, any questions, leave them in the comments section and i will answer them, i was supposed to be scrapbooking all week but my dear son has come down with a horrible cold, so i am on mummy duties all week!

I too love looking at other people's scrap storage. I think I might try and store my papers as you have then I can find coordinating papers quickly. My problem is embellishment storage - I just don't have the room, so I often forget I have things. Thanks for sharing your space today :)

Wonderful storage ideas, love all those MS punches lined up. I use magnetic tape for all my Spellbinders die templates - definitely found it to be the best :-)

Love your paper storage! I store mine by manufacturer in Cropper Hoppers too, but I love how you can keep your scraps with your full sheets this way.
Off to find some zip locks big enough! :)
