First off let me say that i want to thank the people who commented about the American Crafts stash...it is hard to put things like that on this blog, that i know somewhere on the internet there are people saying....oh she is just showing off...i am not stupid i have read the remarks on some places about me, my work etc.....i choose to ignore the hurtful comments.
I personally love looking at what people have bought or won etc...........and know there are people out there that do too.....to the people that dont and think that i am bragging.....sorry about that.......i wasnt...........just thought people would like to see what the new lines are...and the stuff that i like.
so rant over and onto what i wanted to share with you today....
I do not have a blog list down the side of my blog...the reason? well i never seem to be able to find the time to go though my massive list of blogs i follow...and i am too lazy!!!
But i wanted to share two with you today and hope to share a few more over the next few weeks......both of today's,i have found in the last few months...both are, well....i think amazing! for different reasons...
Okay the first one..is an adorable lady called Elizabeth....i met her though the Nook message board and i have been a massive fan of her work ever since. Here is her blog - my life...and all that goes with it.... spend some time there and see her work.....gorgeous!!!! i have a few of her pages in my fav pile to lift!!!
The second one i want to share with you today is a lady called Carly...again i found her on the message board and have been hooked ever since...here is her blog - Paper in Bloom...again spend a bit of time there....
Check out her links on the side...one to her scrapbooking room which is amazing!!!!!!!!! oh how i wish i had the space and the gorgeous stuff that she has...........also the things i want you to check out are her videos.....here
I have just put all my ( and when i say all... i mean only three as they are expensive ) spellbinders in the cd cases like she says in the videos and i love it!!!!! Her work is gorgeous as well...really she should update more as i check there nearly every day...lol
So anyway check them out and i will be back next week with some more links to people that i love!!!!!!

I'm with you, I just love seeing collections of scrappy stuff together in piles. I don't know why, it makes me happy:) people will always have something to say!
Really? People think you are showing off? I am always happy to see a fellow crafter win something and when they do get their stash I LOVE seeing it!!And personally I love your work and am a huge fan. I guess there will always be people who have some not so nice things to say. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could put as much energy into supporting and loving one another as we do tearing each other down? Just think of how much happier we would all be!!!
My thoughts are if they are trashing me somneone else is just getting a much deserved break and i'm glad I could help.....lol.

I don't understand why some women in this hobby feel the need to "trash" others. Probably just jealous. I, for one, enjoy seeing all your posts and have never felt that you were showing off or bragging. Carry on girl, carry on..... :)

I agree with you about Carly. I have been following her blogs for quite some time. A very talented lady. I had never seen Elizabeth's blog before, thanks for pointing it out. I love when people show the product they get. I don't care whether it was purchased, won or earned, it is always fun to see. We can't please all of the people all of the time so lets just please ourselves!
WoW! I was totally shocked to read that someone would say something nasty about you showing off the new goodies. That's crazy! I thought it was fantastic to see the things and if had received them, of course I would have showed them in my blog, too! :)

I have to wonder why do you have such haters and hurtful comments written about you Wendy??? And where are you always going to read these things about yourself??? You are just as bad if you keep reading them or acknowledging them. You actually come across as a rude, whinging, mean person! Sorry but you don't sound like a very friendly person at all.

On the "showing" front, I think its amazing to see what we get when we get it! Who cares what everyone else thinks! I remember getting my boxes from AC, being totally over the moon in love, excited, and like a school-girl too! I shouted it out to anyone that would listen! After all, you totally deserve it!!! :)
Oh.. Just a little suggestion, make sure you order loads of cardstock! I have run out of the big stash {I can't believe I have} that I got in white cardstock and am regretting not getting more! I love me some white cardstock!!!! :) But I did just order some and hopefully it will be here soon!!! LOL.

I already found Elizabeth's blog through her december daily on Ali's blog. Loved her work from the start.And have been following her since (most of the time i'm just lurking, commenting takes up more precious time).

Loved your AC goodies. Loved to see them and started thinking what I would like to have of there new lines. I'm so lucky I can afford to buy stuff I want (off course not all of it)so I'm not envious off other persons happy mail. People that are? Hey they sould try to get on a DT team themselves insteat off putting other people down.

I've always felt this too..I love sharing my new stuff with everyone..I literally feel like shouting it over the roof-tops..and yet when I post them, I get a lot of comments, how lucky..and I'm so jealous of you..and oh you always get everything that you want..it just makes me not want to share anymore..
I just learned to neglect those people and those comments..I'm just about to share a package of goodies i got from Imaginsce and I know I will get loads of weird comments..I have stopped caring for them.
Thanks for the new blogs..I love going to the blogs that you share..I always find something new..
