I went to a little shop the other day...a little shop that you can walk around for hours and still not see everything...it sells. sewing stuff, material, beads, scrapbooking, cardmaking, buttons, trims, ribbons...little drawers of just stuff..that you would never find in a normal scrapbooking shop...so i did a bit of damage to my wallet...i picked stuff up put it down and ended up with a nice pile.
this is transparency...you saw it on my card this week...it is beautiful and glittery and i only bought ONE SHEET!!!! not sure why...i am going to have to go back and buy another...seriously pretty...
Some pearls and some smaller tags which i have been after for ages...
Some pretty trims.....there where so many to choose from i could have spent hours just looking though them all...
there where so many buttons there...seriously hundreds of tubes and you can buy them individually...again could have spent alot just on them...
And lastly....the things that caught my eye and i bought them then and there...
these are little CUttlebug dies...they work in the Cuttlebug and they are gorgeous and i mean gorgeous...they emboss as well...
i used them on fridays card...seriously lovely...so pleased i found these!!!!
Next off i want to say thankyou for all the comments and tons of emails that i get on here...you have no idea how much these all mean to me...seriously...i used to worry about the projects that i put up...would people like them? should i have used another colour or added more? but you guys make me feel every project that i do is special and i thankyou for that, i really do...
Also to answer another question...why do i not put personal stuff on here...there are a few reasons for this...1...i did used to on my other blog...My son suffered from stress and anxiety...sometimes his life was unbearable...i got told ( by email from people who didnt have the balls to put their name to their email) and comments from people in real life...saying that all his problems were my fault...yeah! that was a barrell of fun reciving comments like that... what is he like now? Better, no problems at all...
2.THis is a scrappy blog...not a personal one..though i may start a personal one...hmmmm i will think on that one a bit more...
But i have a had a few requests to know a bit more about me...so here are a few bits...
1) i am 34 years old...if i could insert a shock smiley here then i would...how did i become 34...how old are you when you become a grown up!!!!
2) I used to work full time...I used to be a supervisor in a baby room...ages 3mths to 2 years...i covered a maternity leave...to be honest i hated working full time...dont get me wrong i loved the babies...what could be better then hugs all day long ( if you ignored the screaming!!!! lol) but it meant no time for scrapping, my husband and my son.
3) I have a huge amount of medical problems...seriously i cannot even list them all here...but currently they just keep coming...apparently my body didnt cope well with being pregnant, and i am paying for it ever since.
4) As per my post a few months ago...i cannot have anymore children...i have come to terms with that...to be honest i have no desire to have anymore...I have worked with children since i was 16 years old...so i am all children and babied out!!!!!
5) I have one brother and two sisters...all of which have done amazing things...my brother is a big deal in a big company in London...my younger sister is a lawyer..she starts a new job in September...working for a law firm who dealt with Princess Lady Diana and works with the Formula One Racing companies...so very proud of her. My older sister is an inspiration ( i have to say that as she reads this blog!!!!) seriously she owns a nursery and a school...both amazing places!!!!
6) Lastly I had a whirl wind romance with my husband...he is from scotland and says weird things like aye and wee! We met...fell in love and moved in with each other within 4 months of meeting...we both needed somewhere to live so why not!!! We then got married under a year later...people thought we were moving too fast...but here we are 9 years later...happy...psssst also he is my toy boy as he is 4 years younger than me!!!!

5 cards in 5 days... Day one
I loved doing the 5 tags in 5 days...so i thought this time i would try 5 cards in 5 days...so that is what i am doing this week.
So come back every day this week for a different card each day :)
Some of you may know that i am currently suffering with very bad Carpel tunnel in both of my hands...i am going to the doctors this week to get a steroid injection, but for now i am having to cut down on some typing and other bits, so for this week i am not going to be doing step by steps...i know some of you like looking at them so i am sorry...but i will be doing them again soon...
Okay i have a sketch for each of these if you want them...here is the sketch for this one...
And here is the card that i made...
and here are some close ups...
I have had a few emails and comments about the punch that i am currently using..ie the scalloped edge one on this card...and where you can find it...the honest answer is i dont know...i found it in a box the other day...hiding away...there is no name on it...but it is from a box that i have not opened for over 5 years so i doubt they even make them anymore...sorry...
The line i used for this card was the new Walk in the Park line from Echo park see it here...the crystal swirls are from Zva ( of course) and the little pattern at the bottom underneath the white scalloped cardstock is sticker from the Echo Park Sticker sheet, as like last time if you have a question leave a comment and i will answer it at the end of the weel!...thanks for popping in...come back 2m and see my next card!

Making a card - button style!
Morning...i made this a few weeks ago...and have not been sure wether to show it on here as i am really not sure about it...but here you go.
Before i even started this card that i wanted to use up some of my buttons...i have a large stash and they are not something i use alot off...so i grabbed my jars...here is how i store them...
I love looking at them like this...they look so pretty! i took out some of my favourite ones to use...i also grabbed some paper trim...the paper trim i used for this card is make by K and Company...
I then used lots of glue dots and added them to the centre of each of the lace circles...
next up i started the actual card... i used a big punch to make the end of the card look pretty...
I then recycled part of a piece of packaging...i used prima flowers backing sheet that the flowers sat on...
seriously how beautiful is that!!!! i have had it in my cupboard for a while now just waiting for the perfect chance to use it...
Then i cut out a heart...inked it , folded it in half and inked the edge and added some faux stitching...
then i added the buttons...
I then added a sentiment strip from the SRM stickers across the top of the buttons...
and then added the following flowers
and some pins...
I managed to adhere the wording sheet at the bottom with double sided cello-tape but the top needed doing as well. I tried several ways using glue dots and tape but it all showed though...so i opted for sewing...i sewed both the edges and the middle...
and sew the other end as well...and voila the final card...alot different than normal...and to be honest i am not sure wether i actually like it or not...

Echo park...and a thankyou
First off let me start by saying thankyou for all your comments and emails that i received yesterday...i cannot thankyou enough for what you all said...and i know from some of the emails and comments that i am not the only one to have this happen to and for that i am sorry.
I was so sad to here some of your stories about your work and it does anger me as i know all you girls put as much work into your projects as i do.
A few of you have said about now not lifting my stuff...please that was not my intention at all..as i said i lift peoples ideas all the time and i think it passes on the creativity to each and everyone of us..and if you wish to lift something from here please do so...also if you do, let me know as i really enjoy looking at other peoples work and seeing what they have done and again sparking an idea!!!!...so again thankyou...
So onto the scrapping lol!!!
OH and again with the gorgeousness of Echo Park...i turned up at Papermaze on Wednesday and there it was...sitting there in the box looking all gorgeous!!! lol...

I love scrapbooking and i love putting my creations on here...i spend alot of time on each and every project, card and layout that i make and am very proud of each of them.
It has been bought to my attention over the last few weeks of some of my work is being copied...that i love..that makes me happy that an idea i had gives someone else inspiration...this i love...
I do this myself...i see something that i love and use that idea, either all of it or just part of it...but i do one thing...i give credit...i link people up..i say i saw this idea and from it i did this...or i lifted this page and this is the person i got it from.
I have had people email me and say...thankyou..i copied your idea...here is the link come and see...and i do..and i love it...the things you people have been creating have been gorgeous and i have loved seeing them...that makes me happy...really happy and i hope people will continue to do it.
But...the fact that there are people out there saying these projects are their own...copying pages, projects...and passing them off as their own...not even a 'i got the idea for this page from here'
that makes me sad...that makes me upset...very upset. I am a very slow scrapbooker...each project takes me hours to do, ages to put the idea from a spark in my head to actually showing it here...i know other people have had this problem and it upsets them as well.
Please if you copy my work, all you have to do is credit...that is one of the biggest rules in scrapbooking...give credit, otherwise people will not want to share their projects...
I am standing off my soap box now and will be back with a project 2m...xxxx

Something a bit pretty...
I never know what to buy Harry's teachers at the end of a school year...so this year i opted for a costa coffee gift card...i knew she would like it and it gave me an excuse to make something lol...anyway i thought i would do a step by step instruction along the way...
For todays project i am using the new line from Basic Grey called Olivia sooooo pretty...okay first thing about this is...it is all set on an envelope...i put the gift card inside...perfect!
I cut out a rectangle just a bit thinner than the envelope...and then added a strip of white scalloped card...
Okay next you need to cut out another strip of pattern paper...and cut the edges out to create a banner..
and then added it to the envelope... ( i forgot to add this Jenni Bowlin Note paper in the photos ) do it at this point...
I then punched out a scalloped circle...and added a Journaling spot to it...
I then added a flower...
i then added a Jenni Bowling token...i got the idea for this from this blog...Betsy Veldman ...
*warning only go to this blog if you have several hours to spare as you will never want to leave*
I then added them onto the token...
and i then i added my believe word...i have had this in my stash for about 4 years and have never used it...i re found it the other day and left it out so i would remember it...
I then added this to the envelope...
Now onto the top...here is a picture of it...
Here is the whole thing together....Harry has written a message on the empty part at the top...
I really hope she like it...it was very different to what i normally do so i really enjoyed making it.
thanks for popping in and come back , as later today i will hav
