mixed feelings

Today is my last day at work, working full time.

There are so many things that are making this a happy day... no more pain being the biggest, more time with Harry is another big one...

But there is stuff that will make me cry when i walk out the door.

The girls that i have spent 10 hrs a day with for the last 8 months with...namely these two completely insane girls ( photo taken on circus day)

The children...i would love to post a picture of them but obviously i cannot, but there are some that i will not see again and that makes me so sad...some of them i have looked after since they where babies and watched them grow, learn to walk and talk.

But today is my last day...and i will not cry when i walk out the door.I will not, what do you reckon???

we know not why...

Today (or yesterday as i have set this to post on Monday) is my dads 65th birthday.We had a party...where the whole immediate family, 18 of us descended on my mums house.

The weather was gorgeous and the children spent the whole time running in and out of the garden.

I took my camera...got lots of new photos...and got these of H...we know not why!!!!!

Now all i need...

Last friday was sport relief and where i work it was also circus day...we had soooo much fun. H's school did their bit, all the children had to walk round the big sports field at the back of the school and get sponsored for it.

When asked Harry said he was going to try his hardest to do 100 laps...when i questioned him on this he did insists... he only did 6 but hey the thought was there!!! lol.

As it was circus day at the nursery i dressed up in bright clothes, with the best stripy socks EVER!!!! and my work friend went a bit mad with the face paints!!! lol nice rainbow huh!

I want to scrap this one soooooo badly but i think i am going to have to wait till the right kind of paper line comes along as i want to scrap it in colour!!!!

So i scrapped...Jelly Bean Soup scrapped...one for the beginning of my new All About Me album...at least i have one done...this is a real sneak as it is for the Scrap Paper Scissors Blog and is not even up yet!!!!

shhhh just dont tell anyone you saw it on here first!!! lol

Oh and on a side note....6 days left of work!!!! whooo hoooo! it can not come quick enough for me to be honest as i had to crawl up the stairs to get into bed the other night...i am not sure if my back can even take though 6 days...but i will finish it to the end.

I have been scrapbooking!!!! i know you are shocked huh!!! lol Now it is daylight i can go and photo it and show you...yep sooooooooooooooooo nice to be back!!!!! Hope you are all having a fab weekend..

So i gave up...

I gave up trying to scrapbook this weekend..i had got some of the new Jelly Bean Soup from Papermaze...you can find it all here...but it is going to have to wait a few days till i can scrap again.
...
I also picked up the following... the new Making Memories Flutter ( for me) ...Basic Grey Green at heart ...and some of the new crate paper...which is for the April Classes...all sitting there looking gorgeous lol!!!

Anyway today in the UK is Mothers day...my son decorated this little bowl for me and made me the sweetest card...
We went outside and got the first lot of flowers that where growing in the garden to put in the bowl and put on the table for our special lunch today.

I went outside and asked dh to take some photos of the two of us...


I wish i had some nice for you to look at but nope...but i will be back with a little give away..I took the time to re do my scrapbooking room, sorting out stuff so that when the weather gets better i can move all my stuff downstairs into the conservatory for the spring and summer...so nice to sit and scrapbook with the double doors opening out onto the garden....hmmmmmmmm summer!!!

Found some stuff from Chatterbox that i dont think i am going to use so i may as well pass it on.

I hate it...hate it...hate it...
I have not scrapbooked for nearly a month now...
Time? nope have had lots of that at the weekends and evenings...
Photos? nope have thousands of those...

GONE, GONE, GONE...

i have walked into my scrapbooking room day after day after day...and nothing.

I get sad when it is like this as i feel as though someone has taken something away from me...something that is mine...that is soooo important to me.

And when i feel like this i dont know what to do and then i realise how important this hobby is to me...how it helps me unwind and relax and take the time to just be me.

I know it will come back...it has been gone before and much longer than this as well.

I spent some time today trying to put some classes together, cutting paper and getting no where. so i gave up...normally an idea is there before or while making the page...you know that aha moment..nope that never came.

I miss it...
