My boss at work went on Maternity leave just before christmas...the other day a few weeks early she had a gorgeous baby girl...so i had to make her a card ( of course) as i seem to be doing this more and more lately and less pages...not sure if this is a good thing or not...hmmmmmm...
now not the normal card that i would make...no layers...but all butterflies! which no matter how many i use are still my favourite and always have been...you only have to check out my jewellery to see my love of butterflies...
I used this line to make the butterflies... it is an older line but one that i bought all the bits and pieces for this line and one that i keep if i need a little girl or baby girl card...
Yep not my normal type of card...no layering...actually not much of anything but hey i like it and i hope she does too!

So yesterday was funny!
And when i say funny i dont mean funny ha ha!!!

At 10am yesterday at work i took some tablets by 10:10am i was on the floor surrounded by paramedics.
Turns out i was allergic...first off my whole body went heavy and then covered in pins and needles. A few mins later my throat began to swell up. At that point i freaked ( as you would) and then had a panic attack!

The last 24 hours have been a blur to be honest. I have felt like my body has been hit by a truck. But that is not what has made it hard. TO counteract the allergy i have been taking Piriton. Now this stuff is lethal!!! Seriously bad.

It makes me feel like i am walking on a cloud and within a few mins of taking it i have been asleep.

SO this morning after taking it for over a day i couldnt have even told you my name.!!!!

So note to sell!!! i now have an allergy! never had that before!!! lol

I know that we all have tools that we use all the time...that we couldnt scrap without...there are many of them in my scrapbooking room, some of them i have placed down the side of my blog for you to see..

There are two in particular that i cannot do without.
The first one i got from my parents at christmas time...

It is called Pick and Place... and that is exactly what it does...it picks up small items like small pieces of bling and then you place it where you want it to go on your page... it is as simple as that and it is the best thing ever!!!!

Apparently when the stickiness runs out all you do is rub it on some adhesive and hey bingo it is sticky again!!!!!

You can buy it in several different places but my dad got it from his model shop you can find it here on his website. It has made my life easier when i use all my gems.

The next thing that i have been using in the last couple of months ( yep i have mentioned this before) is the Fine Tip Glue applicator...

Again the best thing i have ever found. It is an empty glue pot...yep sounds boring i know but it is really good...
The tip is really really thin, you can make really neat thin lines with this thing... and that little pin that you can see, stops it from clogging up and it doesnt rust like other pins that i have used in other glue pots. Seriously seriously seriously good stuff!!!

Anyway here is a page that went up on the Scrap paper Scissors the other day...see you soon.

At the end of March i finish full time work... something that i have to say i am looking forward to for so many reasons...

1.My back...ugh yes... yet again my back has stopped my life in its tracks...i cannot cope or ignore the doctors warnings and my own bodies warnings anymore.

2. My patience for working with children is gone... and i mean gone... i suppose it was only a matter of time i have been working with children under the age of 4 since i was 16 and i think my time has finally come where i am not really enjoying it anymore.

3.My time with Harry... i love my son and sometimes i cannot get enough of the time we spend together and i hate being away from him...i want to be there when he finishes school...i want to have the time to sit and read his reading book every night with him...Basically i just plain miss him and want him back.

4.My better half!!! lol!!! R works every other weekend and with me working the long ( very long) hours that i do we never see each other...that will change!!! yippeeeeeee

5.Because i want my life back...I start work at about 7.30am and dont get out of work sometimes till 6.30pm.By the time i get home sometimes it is 7pm...Put Harry to bed eat dinner...it is time to go to bed myself..Doing this 5 days a week doesnt leave much time for anything...i want my life back...

So in March i stop... not completely as i still have to work a few hours a week... and when i say a few i mean about 8 or 10 so not much. Yes money will be tight but so that i can pick my son up from school to me is worth it... SO here i am counting down the days!!!

I have big plans for this blog and myself in the world of scrapbooking more about that in a while!!!

I thought i would share a few of the cards i made for Papermaze which i have yet to put up on here...

I am very into making cards at the moment more than layouts. I feel as though i am really moving on in my style in both at the moment... we will see what happens i suppose!!!

I have been working on some cards using the new Valentine bits and pieces from Making Memories... you can find it here at the Papermaze website... for certain people ( i am not saying any names!!! lol) to make sure i am not hiding anything that i am working on!!! lol...

It is all up on the Scrap Paper scissors blog next week so dont forget to check it out!

Being six apparently according to Harry means you are soooooo grown up and you dont have to do what people tell you to do.

Being six means that you have to leave lego all over the floor...in every room...on every conceivable area of carpet so that mums can tread on them.

Being six means that you now get jokes... especially ones that come in christmas crackers... for example 'what did elves learn at school? the elfabet ( alphabet) apparently when you are six you find these types of jokes sooooooooooooooo funny!!!

Being six means that you literally have to eat your mother out of house and home!

Being six means that you get to stay on Club Penguin just that half hour longer.

Who knew that being six would be sooooo important.!!!! Not me!!!

Here is a page i did a while ago and have only now just got round to taking a photograph. I always forget to actually do that!!! lol though my camera cannot take an in focus picture with any lens at the moment! dont get me wrong i love it but i wish i had never bought it as it has given me nothing but trouble!!!

Anyway this page was picked as the featured layout of the day on two peas!!! very proud!!!
