being positive....

that is my aim from now on....things have not got better this week...my new i phone...which i love, adore, worship and was a present...fell in the water...even after being drying out for days it has yet to work...

My dear husband broke our bed..stood it on one side ( we are decorating our room) and it fell over and smashed...the vacuum cleaner blew up and so did the stereo that i use in my bed room....it has been one of those months that have just gone from bad to worse!!!! for my purse!!!

So this moves me onto my final Midnight Rooster mini kit. My question to you this month is....have you had times in your life that have sucked...where things have just gone wrong one thing after another? I am now just laughing at myself and my misfortune...so make me laugh about silly things that have happened to you.

Here is the picture of the kit....

I will keep this open til friday....happy commenting

These things always happen in multiples, don't they. When I had my daughter, I had a serious head cold. Very annoying! Then, it turned into a sinus and double ear infection. So, I'm up in the middle of the night with serious pain and my sweet newborn is...asleep! Totally not fair!

Oh Wendy, sorry to hear this : (
Everything always comes at once. I hope you have a better week next week.
I've been having a yuk of a time lately. I'm having horrid issues with a client who is threatening legal action (despite Trading Standards saying that I've done everything over and beyond what I should)but they are lawyers and being so nasty : (
We've had bullying problems at school and the school are being incredibly unsupportive and my Dad left to go back the the USA on Monday after a 10day visit and it's a whole year til we see him again.
On the plus side, all this has really curbed my appetite and I've lost 6lb. Yay!!
xx

OK.. are you ready for this? Yes, things get bad.. My three things happened last month:
1. Our roof was leaking up at the top of the woodstove (ok, we KNEW this last winter!), so, I warned my husband about the storms coming... he went up, found the problem (big sheet metal thingy was rotted out), and I took it to the shop.. They could not fix it for a week and sure enough, 20 degree weather with no heat... for almost a week! 2. THEN, my shower head fell apart when I was taking a shower..., (husband was out of town - but I could use another shower in the house). 3. AND, the week prior to that, while I was in the shower, again, all sudsy, and shampoo in my hair, the water suddenly was GONE. NO water... pump broke (this is ranch living)... all this? While my husband was gone! I had to drive 2 miles to nearest neighbor, to fill up water containers, and rinse my head in their bath... WE had not water in the house for close to 24 hours.. THAT is not fun!!!
It could be worse...

Hope things start improving for you! We have had so many BAD times that we just have to laugh. Just when we start to get ahead, the car breaks, something in the house breaks or one of us lose our jobs! Just keep moving forward, laughing and Starbucks ALWAYS helps! :)

I'm so sorry that things have been so crappy for you lately. I've totally been there and can relate! It always seems to be the computer or car for us. As a matter of fact, our desktop crashed 3 weeks ago! So, although it might not make you feel any better, you should know you're not alone...

Just remember that tomorrow is always another day and you never know what amazing things are headed your way!!

Hugs to you...

oh Wendy...when it rains it really does pour...but there is always a bright light on the horizon. 2010 was the worst year of my life and the best at the same time. Up until mid-June everything that could have gone wrong has...and then just like that the bad streak ended and good things started happening. Just ride it out and look forward to the good streak =)

Sheesh! I hope things start looking up for u soon! Prayers (for u & ur purse) headed your way!! I've been having a crazy month too. Nothing seems to be going as planned, I keep saying the wrong things and then obsessing over them, and Christmas is getting closer & closer and the city my hubby works for has cut his pay & benefits. Kinda crappy! But there's always hope. We're happy together, have wonderful/healthy babies, great friends, and the joy of the Lord. Really what more is there. :D. Hope you have a great day!!!

sorry to hear you have had just one of those wrong days, so much so you wish you had gone back to bed. I suppose one of our most eventful days this year was the day before we were going on holiday to france. Firstly our key hadn't turned up for the appartment we were staying in, our little boy smashed his chin on the pavement and spent an hour at the minor injuries clinic, where upon his chin was glued and striped and the boiler leaked and blew the electrics in our house. Very eventful, it ended with us finally getting our key via courier, not taking to many pics of the little one and his chin (especially full frontal ones) and an expensive repair on our boiler. But we did have agreat hoilday in France.

Yikes....when it rains in pours huh? We have gone through quite an expensive 6 months. It started with our trucks transmission and ended up taking our daughter to a specialist 3 hours away!

I was selling my car so it was sitting for a bit and I hadn't driven it for about 2 weeks. I had someone coming over to look at it so I wanted to let it run for a bit to warm it up. Well, I went to start it and it wouldn't start! I was freaking out. So, I called the people who were coming over to bring jumper cables and then I told my boyfriend that it wouldn't start. He was shocked, so he went out and it started just like that!

Turns out it the two weeks I had went from a standard to an automatic, I forgot where the clutch was, and I had my foot on t he brake and not the clutch when starting. Man, I felt like a tool, LOL

This didn't happen to me personally, but a co-worker. She put regular gas in her car that uses diesel. Had to call her son and hubby, and had to have the car towed to a mechanic to have the tank emptied.... Luckily she realized the mistake at the gas station, so didn't start the car or ruin it. But her son and hubby never let her forget it either....

hi wendy! lovin' that card that you have posted on november 5th, its beautiful!

hmmm...one thing after another AKA story of my life! there have been plenty of these moments in my life, especially today - i have been wanting and obsessing over these really cute PJ pants from aerie (kind of like victorias secret, but not as scandalous!) for awhile, so this morning, i went to the story to buy them and what do you know, they dont have my size in stock in ANY of the stores anymore. i wear a large, but they only had a medium, which was way too small and an extra large, which was way too big!

im always a day late and a dollar short! :(

oh yeah, I've had several of those times. The most recent incident was last month I was whinning over all the nicks and dents in my car wishing for a paint job.....and low and behold an 18wheeler crashed into me the following week! Now that's literally saying "be careful what you ask for"!!! Well, again, hope things get better for you soon!
