I really enjoyed making the centre piece...and here is how..really simple but as you can see very effective...and pretty.
Start off with a scalloped punch or die cut...the size i am using for this is 2 1/4"
I punched out a base piece...this is the bit that all the other bits will come out of...
You can make these with heart shapes...but i like having the white edge around the outside and it saves alot of cutting out which is only good for saving your hands and time...
Next punch out lots of different pattern papers with the same punch...and cut them in half...i did this so it is easier to cut the heart out
The cut out the hearts...and place them on the base scallop...
they will overlap...they will not be lined up correctly especially in the centre...
But if you cover the centre then that will not matter...
I then covered this one with a felt layered flower that i made the other day...
and volia you are done...perfect for any page or card.. i have kept all the bits i didnt use..to use again next time.
.thanks for all your comments the other day about the butterfly week...after the overwhelming response to my suggestion, this weekend i will start putting together a 5 butterflies in 5 days week...i have a few ideas in mind but if you have anything specific let me know :)

Dear Wendy, I found you at www.scrapbook.com - gallery. I live in Brazil, half way around the world, and thanks to that site I can now follow your work, which is fantastic by the way. Thanks for sharing.
