I never know what to buy Harry's teachers at the end of a school year...so this year i opted for a costa coffee gift card...i knew she would like it and it gave me an excuse to make something lol...anyway i thought i would do a step by step instruction along the way...
For todays project i am using the new line from Basic Grey called Olivia sooooo pretty...okay first thing about this is...it is all set on an envelope...i put the gift card inside...perfect!
I cut out a rectangle just a bit thinner than the envelope...and then added a strip of white scalloped card...
Okay next you need to cut out another strip of pattern paper...and cut the edges out to create a banner..
and then added it to the envelope... ( i forgot to add this Jenni Bowlin Note paper in the photos ) do it at this point...
I then punched out a scalloped circle...and added a Journaling spot to it...
I then added a flower...
i then added a Jenni Bowling token...i got the idea for this from this blog...Betsy Veldman ...
*warning only go to this blog if you have several hours to spare as you will never want to leave*
I then added them onto the token...
and i then i added my believe word...i have had this in my stash for about 4 years and have never used it...i re found it the other day and left it out so i would remember it...
I then added this to the envelope...
Now onto the top...here is a picture of it...
Here is the whole thing together....Harry has written a message on the empty part at the top...
I really hope she like it...it was very different to what i normally do so i really enjoyed making it.
thanks for popping in and come back , as later today i will hav

Beautiful Wendy...I'm sure she will love it. The banner and scalloped edges are so sweet. Yep, I'm a big fan of Betsy's blog too:-)

I should have left many comments before today.... I just love your tags and projects.... you are so inspiring. I love how you show the details. I am so excited to make something like this today. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, for sharing!
Beautiful! I wish I was Harrys teacher! She is going to love this.
warest wishes Anita..x
Layers! I love how you do your layers! You open my eyes to all things I have that could be layered and I just never see it. I have that journalling spot and I've never used it. So obvious that it can be used as "just" a circle.
I guess I'll click that link now...
Great great work once again I so love your projects.
I am sure his teacher will love it! Beautiful layering and paper choices!
