So i sat down the other day with an idea in my head...to tell my story in the times of knights and dragons...my husband then came along and add his bits ( if your read it i am sure you will be able to tell which parts he added!!!)
For this page i did the journaling first...printed it out and then the page went from there...i have tried to do this with the photos and bits and then added the journaling but i never ended up with enough room...so now if i know my journaling is going to be long i focus on that first and build the page around it.
For this page i used the girls paperie line with the matching embellishments...which i have bought twice now!!! oppps!!!!
If you do read the journaling here are a few of the words translated!!! - Scotchland = Scotland and Eurgurland = England!!!
Here is the page...
I wanted to do step by step with this but as i spent all day sunday teaching children how to ride a bike i had to make this sunday evening so BAD photos!!!!
And if you cannot read the journaling in the photos here it is...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess...she lived in a small studio castle all by herself and she was very lonely.
Far far far away in the neighbouring kingdom called Scotchland lived a brave and handsome knight.
He too was very lonely and looked for someone to love.
One day he got a call for help from the Lord of the Manor of Burstead in Essexshire...he was in distress
As he needed help in his kitchen... in his big big manor house.
So the brave and handsome knight immediately got on his trusty steed and
Galloped down to the next kingdom called Engurlund.
He endured...driving rain (only in Scotchland!) terrible gusty winds, blazing hot sun and confronted very scary looking Dragons...but still he kept going...until he reached his destination.
Now the very beautiful princess also worked in the Manor..and the day after the
Brave and handsome knight arrived their eyes met over a crowded table and it
Was nearly true love.
For many days they were friends...the beautiful princess laughing at the knights jokes (although still not really understanding his strange Scotchland accent). The brave and handsome knight all the while thinking the princess was very beautiful (although a little bossy for his taste!)
The brave and handsome knight was not very good with dates (little has changed!) and had forgotten it was the feast of st valentine...so a few days later he presented the beautiful princess with a very small box of chocolates (low fat ones of course as the beautiful princess was on a diet even though she didn't need to be)
Thus began the fairytale of their true love......
A year later the beautiful princess having become fed up waiting for the handsome knight to ask the king for his daughters hand in marriage... put his brave and handsome arm behind his back and marched him to Gretna-Greenshire to get hitched.
They then celebrated the marriage with a short honeymoon in a castle and visited the local market where they purchased many items of clothing from the stalls of Ralphius Laurenius and Thomas Hilfigerus... newly arrived traders from distant lands.
But the manor could not run for long without them so they had to return to Essexshire and continue their duties but they lived happily ever after.
