A new frame and a blog hop...

This is going to be a long post today so bear with me...first off i have a new frame to show you ( yep was going to be a card today but i changed my mind)...also do you like the new banner? i took this photo ages ago and have just re found it again...just reminds me of summer...

Are you are fan of this lady...Christine Middlecamp ??? well i am she is the queen of layering...a girl after my own heart!!! Well a little while ago she did a massive tutorial on how to make a really big doily frame...oh hers was wonderful...and it was something that i wanted to do myself...now i didnt have any of the doily's as they are hard to get hold off..so i had to improvise...i went to a crop yesterday and when i got there i challenged myself to make one of these just using the supplies that i took with me...it took me all day and then some of the later afternoon to actually put this together...

Now there are not as many things on mine as on hers...but still i am happy with it...here are the individual squares and what i used on each one...

The paper line i used for this was Echo Park ...A walk in the park...i stuck to the blue, yellow and brown pattern paper and some Basic Greys Basics...
On all of these i used some scalloped punches...I used some small metal circles from Lil Davis designs which i have just re found in my stash and am loving them!!!!..the little words are the Making Memories vintage findings

I used this new punch for the this one...double punch and some Heidi Swap flower ghost shapes...

I used the Ek success small retro flower and the classic butterfly from Martha Stewart..the pearls are from Zva Creative...
The button came from Autumn leaves and the book plate is Tim Holtz...

The butterfly i traced round for the ghost shape butterfly was Scenic Route chipboard and the pins and the bead where from a small shop near me...

Okay next...the blog hop...as i am actually at work today...not my normal day...i have posted this early...last time i set this to post automatically it didnt happen...so i dont mess up the hop i have posted this early...the blog hop doesnt start until 2pm UK time so some of the links may not work until later...

The Zva Designers are joining together today to share a project that we have created using some of our favorite Zva Creative http://www.zvacreative.com/index.html products. I am hoping that you will take some time to join us for a little bit of fun again this month!

The Blog Hop begins at Kim Hughes' blog: http://paperhugs.typepad.com/paper_hugs/.
She will have the complete list of all blogs that are participating in
case there is a glitch along the way. If you would like to play along,
I am linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking
to the next and so on. There are 19 design team members, so be prepared
to be inspired along the way. Hidden on 5 of the blogs is a Zva
Creative prize package ...YAY! Those blogs will be randomly chosen
after the hop is over, so it's important to leave a comment on as many
blogs as you can along the way.

This Blog Hop runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Monday,
July 19th and the 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, July, 21st
on each of the winning blogs and the full list will be found on Kim
Hughes‘s blog (linked above). We will do our best to notify each
winner, but it's best if you can pop in to all of the blogs once again
on Wednesday...plus, you never know what kind of inspirational creation
that you may find there. All you need to do is leave a comment on this
Zva Blog Hop post...you do not need to leave a comment on each and
every designer's blog post to qualify. The more times you leave a
comment along the blog hop path though, the more chances you will have
to be one of the lucky winners.

While i was doing all my tags the other day...i made one using Zva Products...

Please hop on over to see:

Thank you SO MUCH for joining us

I just love the frame, just gorgeous! I follow Christine's blog and loved her doily frame! As much as I loved hers I am not a massive fan of doilies so if I had to ever try one I would prefer to do it as you have, I love your colour choice! :)
