midnight rooster

Yep it is that time again...the july midnight rooster kit is up and ready for sale...well it will be i think when America wakes up!!! lol

The kit this month was just breath takingly beautiful...beautifully co ordinated...gorgeous colours and well it had Jenni Bowlin butterflies in it so i couldnt ask for more that really could i!!!!

Anyway here is my first page that i did using this kit...some very old photos of my son and nephew that i have had sitting around for ages and i finally found the right papers to do the justice..

I finally got round to having a go at making the rolled up flowers...hmmm is all i am going to say...they look beautiful and i had alot of fun making them but i think they will get squashed when i finally get around to putting the page in an album...or is that just me???

Anyway i had fun making this page...

Onto the next one...

This page was meant to be functional ...more than creative...does that make any sense at all??? I wanted to remember somethings about Harry at this point and i used this page to do that...so i gave myself a certain amount of space to do all the journaling and then built the page around these three sections and that is what i came up with...

I did it in 3 sections...one about who he is right now...how he interacts with people his kindness etc...a part on his day...for those of you who dont know Harry's birthday is on christmas Eve so we have a Harry day half way though the year...the third one was about the fact that he now gets pocket money and what he has to do to get it every week...

There rest of my creations are up on the midnight Rooster kit website so pop along and see them Midnight Rooster...

Lastly...two things...i will post the winner of my giveaway on my blog this weekend so check back...and also just to let you know i am doing something different on this blog next week...i am doing 5 tags in 5 days...i will be making a tag frame...and each day i will be posting a different tag...from Monday to friday...i have enjoyed making these so much...it has been fun and i cannot wait to show them to you...

What beautiful layouts you created! I love those flowers you made but I think too they will get squashed when put in an album! My feelings are double, it looks beautiful now but how about next year?
If you visit my blog, I lifted one of your layouts a few weeks ago!
