making a card...zva style.

Hi! Again it is monday...not sure where the weekend goes i really do not...any way life is back to normal this week...school half term is over and all the kiddies are back at the school and the house is now silent again!!!!

So i have put together a little Zva Creative card for you...this one with a difference and VERy hard to photograph!!!

Okay here is the sketch as to how i thought the card would turn out!

First off i used my Cuttlebug to cut out (again yep becoming a bit obsessed with the whole text flowers...sorry) some text flowers...3 this time and inked the edges...



Layered them up and adhered them together...

for the centre gems today i have used these gems...

before adhereing to the circle i used this Zva Creative flower...


I cut out the middle gem as it is very big and i needed it to be flat...and the added it to the blue circle

and then added the text flowers over the top...

I then cut out the following...

and layered them up...and added the same gem as before...

I did the same again ( sorry forgot photos for this one) with a small retro flower..see end photo)
In the end all the circles look like this...


I then cut out the following...

A rectangle and some scalloped edges...and layered them...the rectangle size is 8.5cm across and 4cm down...

I then layered all the circles on top...

I then cut out a strip of transparency...to the size 27cm down and 8.5cm...and folded it in half...( not sure if you can see this photo)



I then added the strip with the circles on to the bottom half leaving a gap off about 1cm...


I then used this packet of gems... i only wanted the butterfly trail so i cut it off the rest...

and layed it going up the right handside of the card...and then punched out another brown glitter butterfly and a blue zva creative gem and added it to the top of the trail...

I added some paper at the same level as the other but this time inside the card to give me something to write on... and stamped the sentiment.
