I just adore your pages here....the "upside down" layout is just too cute!!

My favorite children's book both as a child as well as today is Make Way for Ducklings. I still have my copy that I received in 1979 when I was just a young child. My youngest daugther and I read that together at least once a week (she is four). We love Mr & Mrs Mallard, Michael, and of course, Jack, Mack, Nack, Oack....

I loved to read Mary Poppins when I was little, and now live near the town where P T Travers came from!!
I also loved and read over and over any of the Enid Blyton books, and have bought some for my grandchildren to read and enjoy the same way I did.

Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak was my favorite. But there was this other book that I just realized I must get for my kids, What Good Luck! What Bad Luck! by Remy Charlip.

Great layouts! Can't wait to purchase a kit!

I was a real bookworm as a child (and still am!) and devoured everything by Enid Blyton but the book that had the most lasting impression on me was Jane Eyre. I read it when I was 9 and can remember sneaking out onto the landing to carry on reading it after lights out in our bedroom. My parents soon found out that I was there as they heard me crying my eyes out after Jane's friend Helen died. I still blub my eyes out today reading that part.

Favorite book? I remember reading the Nancy Drew series as a young girl.

Certainly I was a big Enid Blyton fan, and loved the Famous 5 and Secret 7. But I loved other 'detective-style' books and read The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew too.
And then there was the LM Montgomery books. Of course, the Anne of Green Gables series, but also Emily of the New Moon I loved too.

I was into horses big time, so my favourite series of books were the Jill books, about a young girl and her pony adventures, I read each book several times and never got bored with them.

My favorite book when I was little....I can't remember the exact name but it was about a mouse in a people's house. I think maybe it was a Dr. Seuss book.
