Making a card - Zva Style

Hi and welcome to another monday...i swear the weekends get shorter and shorter!!!

Todays card is done using the new line from Cosmo Cricket called Delovely and some gorgeous bits from Zva Creative...

Here is the sketch that i was working from and as you can see it has changed a fair amount...



First off i cut out 9 squares of pattern paper all to the size of 3cm by 3 cm....
I then cut out a square of card to the size9cm by 9cm and adhered all the squares on it...

I then added some ruffled lace along the bottom...


Before adhereing this to the card i added my sentiment as it makes it easier to do with nothing to get in the way...

For the sentiment i used Ali Edwards Technique Tuesday every day moments stamp...

I then added the square of pattern paper...i adhered with pop up foam dots to give it an extra dimension...


I then got out my zva box and picked these...
they are gorgeous brown pearls...for this project i used the smaller ones...after taking them off the packaging i used this fab tool to pick them up...

the end is sticky and i use it to pick up all my beads and gems, perfect ! and when it stops being sticky i rub it against some cellotape and voila it is sticky again! best thing i ever bought!!!

I then placed them on the corners of some of the squares...


I then added a flower...I layered all of these together...

i am using these brads from Zva...

they are all made of material...and come in these gorgeous colours...perfect for this paper line...

Just before i finished i added some small Zva Gems to the edge of the sentiment...And voila the final card...
