for Ruby

I altered my frame

...and it was harder than i thought!!! Not sure why as i really love altering stuff like that but hey any hoo it is done...
And here is how...

I used butterflies again ( sorry)...I attacked the middle section first...I used the girls Paperie line...well it is one of the most gorgeous lines EVER ( in my opinion)...

Cut out the first one from pattern paper...

Then on top of that i added this...

it looks heavy put isnt really...it comes with string though the middle and there are another two in the line but i just wanted the one so cut off the string...this goes on top of the pink butterfly...

I then made a butterfly out of the Hambly pattern transparency that i showed you the other day...

I then added a smaller butterfly and then this...
they are little crystal beads, i found it in the sale section at a shop and was convinced that i could something with them!!!

this all fixes to the middle section of the frame...

Above and beyond i used these...

I wanted them to sit on the edge of the frame so i added lots of foam pads...

...i then made two smaller butterflies and poked a hole in the middle of them

and then added the crystal flowers...

I inked the edges of all the frame..and voila!!!! (sorry funky colours, blame the rotten british weather for that)!!!!

sorry went a bit over board with the detail shots!!!

I added some of my photos...but this is for a friend of mine who has just had a baby...and the frame will hold her photos...Thanks for looking!

I just bought my first MS butterfly punch yesterday, so I think finding your blog was meant to be! Now, I have to know what punches you use for your retro flowers. Can you share?
Keep the card inspiration coming!
