My scraproom...

I have had a few request to show my new scraproom.

I have taken some pictures and have included some pictures inside my drawers etc...I DONT HAVE ONE OF THOSE BEAUTIFUL SCRAP ROOMS!

I have a working scraproom...it is not all colour co- ordinated. It is not full of beautiful things found at a antique store...it is inexpensive stuff that i have found at my local shops. It is a room i use all the time and is done to what i need and makes sense to me...

Myscrapbooking room...
First off let me show you how i store my buttons...i bought these jars from Dunelm...they are actually meant for jam! but they where not expensive as i need several of them...about £1.99??? i think...

The unit that they are sitting on is actually a corner bathroom unit that i bought from the local DIY shop. It is great it sits in the corner of my table where otherwise it would be a wasted space...

I store my buttons with two colours in each...makes them a bit prettier!!!

Embellishments:

There little drawers are the best thing ever!!! they where a couple of pounds each from my local Range...i know i am tempting fate by putting them so high on top of each other but they have yet to fall off!!! lol Here is a look inside some of them...

The main unit...this unit holds everything!!!! lol...
It is actually not one unit...the bottom half with the baskets is a seperte unit...the top half my dear husband constructed for me...i told him what i wanted and he made it and very proud of that fact he is!!!!

My paper...

As you can see i have several cropper hopper folders for my paper and as you can see i have alot of them that are scraps...papers that i have used...but only one for new paper...i store my paper in company lines. I normally buy a whole line of paper if i like it, they are then stored in plastic 12 by 12 bags to keep them all together...as i scrap this way storing it this way makes sense...

My ribbons...

I store all these in colour...the jars again come from Dunelm or The range ( i forget which) looks pretty!

Next to this unit i have a tall small drawer...

inside the glue drawer...

My gems! :
You will be suprised how little i have huh!!!! wait till my new ZVA stuff comes from America and it will be full up!!!!

My everyday drawers: this holds things i use all the time...in a little drawer set from The Range...£14.99 it was my mothers day present...

( yep i know liquid is spelt room moan at my son for that one!)

inside...
Bits and pieces...
and while looking through i realised that i have far to many small alphabets!!!!!

I have a 12 by 12 drawer set that i bought years ago...it is falling to bits but as it is 12 by 12 is very handy sometimes!!!!

Top drawer : Lettering

2nd Drawer: Thickers
3rd Drawer: Rub ons

4th drawer: Embellishment Stickers
Not sure where all the ones on the left are!!! i think Harry has been in there!

5th drawer: Dream Street

I still have a ton of stuff left over from when they were around so i keep it all together.

LAst drawer: Stickers...

Here is a overall view...

As i said... not fancy but it is mine, it works for me and i love it!!!!

I love love love your room!! A scrap room doesn't have to be pretty (but ut sure is a major bonus) but it has to be functional.. And yours is just awesome!!
