In fact i described it as a 'make something from nothing' kind of a scrapbooker. When i say this i mean taking what i have and turning it into something else.
The things i use the most are my punches. Every time. Why?
Well i have scrapbooked for other people for so long, and sometimes all you get is some pattern paper and you have to put a page together. I learnt very early on that punches and templates where my friend.
It has shaped the way that i scrapbook over the last few years and now i find it very hard to scrapbook any other way.
I have a big draw full of templates, fiskars ones and the ones that i have cut out myself. I also have a little draw full of things that i use all the time...

So today we are going to have a comments give away. Leave a comment on my blog and i will pick someone to have a copy of all my little templates. It is that simple.
I have not had this blog up and running for a while so you should be in with a good chance of winning!!! lol!!!! I will leave it open to the end of the weekend.

Hi Wendy , I'm with you on this one as I have an ever growing collection of punches and I recently went mad with a border punches order at Papermaze. The next thing I was thinking of doing was to collect chipboard shapes just to use as templates as I already have some Crafters Workshop templates that I use. I don't think I have a style as such - like you I tend to use/adapt what I have and my first love is paper so I would much rather turn my scraps into an embelishment than use a ready made one. It also costs less - which means I can spend more on paper!
I think that describes you WELL - and I love your use of templates and punches, hun. That's what makes a page "wendyesque". :D
Hi Wendy, hope little one is feeling better today! I bought two flower punches from Papermaze recently, as I love your style, and how you can incorporate them into just about any layout, even the masculine ones! Now I find I am using them all the time!

How fun! I'd love to win!
I love how you use punches Wendy and it always inspires me to use my ever growing collection more.
I am so glad that you decided to blog again as I had missed your old blog.
I love your templates and what a cheaper way to add to any LO and the effect can look so much better than expensive embellishments.
